What do you guys think would've happened if Vergil had beaten Dante at the end of DMC3? Would he have killed Dante? Would he stop thirsting for power after having both amulets?

Would you guys agree that DMC3 had the overall faster gameplay? I mean I love DMC5 with the overpowered combos especially Vergil,but I didn't like most of the levels being just roots
