That is a great question. Virgil? Probably, but there was a Hardcore Band that existed post golden age of punk in Memphis, Tennessee. Trailing the vapors of seminal acts from the region, there was a five string guitar player, a vicious bassist, a machine gun drummer, and a frontman known for wearing women's clothing and disrobing mid show. The band toured from coast to coast the summer of 2001, put out one 7 and an erstwhile demo containing aforementioned 7 (average life span of hardcore band). They disbanded in 2002 when 2 members bounced 3 hours east to Nashville. 2 songs remain unrecorded and likely forgotten partially, collectively by ex members. This was a 2 and a half year labor of love that died slowly. Take solace in knowing that there was fun had.
