Himura Kenji (緋 (ひ) 村 (むら) 剣 (けん) 路 (じ) ?) is the son of Kamiya Kaoru and Himura Kenshin who first appears in the last chapter of the manga as a young child. Although Kenji bears an uncanny resemblance to Kenshin, Kenji is more fond of his mother and less caring towards his father (he has a habit of pulling Kenshin's hair).
