Dragon Ball Evolution is a 3D fighting game based on the less than stellar movie of the same name. The game itself is, surprisingly, based on the Dragon Ball Shin Budokai series on the PSP and is more or less the same as those games except characters do not fly and combat is much faster and arguably more fluid. There are not as many characters to choose from as the Shin Budokai games. but the game features an Arcade Mode, Mission Mode, and Story Mode. There is also less emphasis on beams and ki blasts with more of the game centered around martial arts combat. This is a pretty good Dragon Ball fighting game that just happens to get its source material from one of the darkest points in the franchise
