Alpha Pokémon - PokeMMO Wiki

Alpha Pokémon, or Alphas, are a variant of Pokémon which introduce hidden abilities to certain Pokémon species. Alphas are found in the wild through an in game time cycle. When caught, Alphas have two randomly chosen perfect IVs along with a corresponding hidden ability, which may be modified through an Ability Pill. Alphas appear bigger as a follower sprite with a special effect when summoned, have a red outline in battle and in summary screens, and have a lower-toned battle cry. Alpha Pokémon can be identified with the icon in the Pokémon's summary screen.
